Treasury and Travels

My wonderful, exciting news of the day is that my Unicorn Horn glass loop pendant was featured in an Etsy treasury.

Also, Husband has booked a hotel in Rochester, NY so that I can attend the ISGB Gathering this July. We'll be going to that on our way home from our yearly trip to South Carolina. So excited!

New listings

I've kinda been stuck in an uninspired rut lately and getting to the glass bench has been a feat of strength in itself, so when I do make it there, I'm trying to make a point of working on different things that normal. Last week I made some twisted canes, which I normally hate to do, and they were all evenly twisted and straight so I was very impressed with myself. Also, I've been trying to make at least a couple dreadlock - sized beads every session, and I've gotten some back that I really like. It will be a while before I have enough of them to stock and open the Dread Pirate store, but hopefully it will be an enjoyable process while I'm getting there. Here are a few beads I made last week that I just listed in my Etsy :) store

Japanese Tea Garden

Emerald City

an un-named dread bead / scarf slide

Skye

That's all the news I've got for now, and it may be a couple weeks before anything else exciting happens because the book fair at Son's school starts next week. Thanks for stopping by :)

New developments

Hasn't been much news or production the last few days as I'm currently in the middle of the third day of the flu, but I have some exciting news to share today. I've opened a second (specialty) shop on Etsy where I'll be selling all of my coming dreadlock beads and glass ear plugs and things of that nature. I'm considering a second blog dedicated solely to that shop, and I'll make a decision around the announcement of opening day. If you know anyone with dreads or any piercing afficionados, please spread the word! Thanks for stopping by!

Twit-errr

I decided I might as well go ahead and use my twitter account since  the trend doesn't seem to be dying down. You can follow me here or use my name @cinderspritzer. I promise it won't be all advertising stuff from my Etsy store.
